UPAHARANA TRUST is a Non – Profitable & Charitable organization with the objectives & aims to develop the growth of Human Potentialities and Develop the within unknown Skills of the Poor Students. The motto of the organization is “Awareness of the time will bring you the sense of Urgency: Ignorance of the time will bring you the sense of Apathy”

To fund educational needs for 138 Poor Students and there family in Podnoor, Coimbatore. They are organising a Fund Raising Event “VARIETY ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM”. first of its kind in Coimbatore, (Program Schedule attached herewith) which will be held at VOC Grounds, Avinashi Road. Coimbatore on May 30th 2009, between 3.00 PM to 9.30 PM with 40,000 audience witnessing the Event 

They are also organising a Press & Media meet on 8th of April at a Orphanage called "Family For Children"(Podnur, Coimbatore) along with Ms.Anu Radha Sriram.

5.30 pm to 6.00 pm : Dance by Ganeshkar & Harathi

6.00 pm to 6:30 pm : Welcoming all the invites & 

                                       Introdution About UPAHARANA TRUST’ & Team Spirit.

6.30 pm to 7.30 pm : Musical Concert by Ms Anooradha Sriram

7.30 pm to 7.45 pm : Awards Distributions 

7.45 pm to 8:15 pm : Shadow play by Mr. Vadivel Pillai

8.30 pm to 8.45 pm : Dance by Ganeshkar & Harathi

8.45 pm to 9.15 pm : Musical Concert by Ms.Anooradha Sriram 

9.15 to 9.30 pm : Vote of Thanks & National Anthem

To make this event a great success they are collecting funds from corporates.
