Tata Nano – 1 Lakh Car

Tata has introduced “Tata Nano” in to the market. Even though it is claimed to be a 1lakh car. The car rate will be 1 lakh 30 thousand on Road. This car will be a basic model car. This car will not have Power Steering , Power Windows and Cigarette Lighters.


Tata Nano higher end cars will have all facilities of a higher end car.

Tata Nano will hit the Indian Roads by October 2008. The Bookings for the car is already begun.

Tata has setup a car plant in Singhur, West Bengal. Tata Nano main body is made of steel. If the same is replaced with the High Durable Plastic then the car can be sold at a rate less than 1 Lakh. An expert committee is already working on this.

After Tata Nano hits the Indian Roads , imagine the Traffic in the Cities. Already vehicles are crawling in the metropolitan cities.

The Government should take necessary step to avoid heavy traffic when more four wheelers hit the road.
