Rahul Dravid 10000 runs

I am a great fan of Rahul Dravid.I take this opportunity to congratulate Rahul Dravid for achieving the feat.He is rightly called "THE WALL".How many times he has saved India by his cautious batting. If you look in to the records were there were big partnerships, you can take it for granted one name will be Rahul Dravid.
In my books he is the most Consistent, Reliable and Dependable batsman.

Some say he is playing for his personal scores.I strongly deny because when he made 10000 runs in ODI , he didn't even lift his bat after achieving the record. He modestly said that runs will come if you bat on.

I once heard in his interview that , if you come to the crease, plan to face the next ball, don't ever plan to bat for 50's and 100's.if you play with the merit of the ball, by defending the good balls and send the bad ones to the boundary, runs will come automatically.

Rahul Dravid has scored 10,000 runs in both form of cricket the Test match and the one dayers.so there is no point in telling that he is fit for test matches only.

He is a good person by heart, and what is lacking in him is the aggression as a captain.he simply expects every one to perform at their best as he does, this policy does not work most of the time. As a captain he should be a blend of aggression as well as soft. Mahindra Singh Dhoni is a best example for a good captain.

Rahul David is the 6Th batsman to achieve this feat of 10,000 runs in the test Cricket next to Brian Lara,Sachin Tendulkar, Australia's Allan Border and Steve Waugh and Sunil Gavaskar.

He has made 5 double centuries ,most by a Indian Batsman.

He has made 25 centuries in total.

He has scored centuries against all test playing nations.
Australia(2),Bangladesh(2),England(3),New Zealand(4),Pakistan(5),South Africa(2),Sri Lanka(1),West Indies(3),Zimbabwe(3).

I wish Dravid to continue to perform like this for the years to come.
