Virendar Sehwag - Test Career a Review

Virendar Sehwag is the only Indian Batsman to score over 300 runs in the Test Arena.A fastest triple century by any batsman in the history of Cricket.

He has equalled Australian Don Broadman and Brian Lara by scoring second triple century.

He has surpassed Sunil Gavaskar's record at Chepauk Stadium ,Chennai by hitting a triple century, a record that was prevailing more than a decade.

He is able to hit big centuries because he is a free flowing batsman. his strike rate is excellent mostly 90+.

He has a Test Average of 90 runs against pakistan, a proud figure for any batsman.

He has a test average of 50+ over all

But honestly he is not consistent.if he is, he would have scored 5 double centuries or more like Dravid.he is no doubt a threat to the opposite side but out of 10 , he gives his best only 3 times. Most of his best batting comes when he has a threat that he will not have a place in the team if he does not perform. In simple language he is complacent.

Hope many readers will have a different opinion.

If he delivers 100% every match sincerely he will surpass 400 hundreds runs record by Brian Lara and will also make Team India more powerful.

To my knowledge , he should be a better batsman than he is today.he needs to be more consistent, that is the need of the hour.
