Regarding Remakes, I often See Rajini Kanth's movie being remaked.Ajith's Billa, Dhanush's Polladhavan,There is a rumour that Seeyan Vikram would remake Mundru Mugam, again a Rajini Kanth's film.
This sends another doubt, why is that Kolly Wood not attempting to remake Kamal Hasan Film or Nadigar Thilagam Shivaji Ganeshan's Film.
Do they think it cannot become Commercially a great Success.
Any one who can answer my Queries ?

rajini's film can b remaked by anyone...bt d thing s its not easy 2 remake kamal's..
think of 16 vayathinilaey,aboorva sagodhargal,salangai oli,kalyana raman...all r extra ordinary acting ...who s talented 2 act lik this in 2008??? cum on tell me!!!

its a wonderful consideration of remaking Kamal's movies. But you have created the question with the answer itself. Besides consideration of whether o not its going to be a commercial success, another matter to be thought is how far did the original movie went & created brandname. So that it will be a return of history, or even better. This kind of huge crowd receive was given by MGR & SS Rajini with their personal branding,caring less about the movie's story or director. So, I feel this might be one of the reason. And actually, how many remakes so far?Only Billa. Others are still news & no confirmation. So, lets praise the current effort & welcome new ones as u suggested.
p.s-by the way, Pollathavan is not a remake, only movie title remaked. Thanks
